DescriptionThis is from a series of super realist watercolors produced by John Bohnenberger in the early 1970's. A number of these works were derived from photographs, although he rarely copied them exactly like the picture. He often used the photographs for reference on the detailed foregrounds with water reflections, but added to ,and rearranged the background subject matter to make the work more interesting and resolve compositional perspective problems that can become a problem when artists work from photographic images.On View
