DescriptionArtist Statement: "This painting is a carefully rearranged assemblage of everyday items in my studio. The bright red fire extinguisher and little Pinocchio doll act as accents against the complementary grayish-green background. Many of the objects and pictures in this setup had such deep personal meanings for me, they were not only interesting to paint, but also fun to reminisce about as I developed the painting. Setting up still lives with constant artificial light on everyday objects like this is a great way to always have something to work on."
