DescriptionMark Hilbert: “This is a rare interior by George Post. It’s compositionally very interesting, like a composed still life. It has these beautiful curtains that frame the still life, with the bouquet of flowers a little bit offset in its space. It’s backlit so you can also look out the window and see the light coming in from outside, contrasting with the shadows in the bottom foreground.”
