BiographyJack Oliver Manning was a funny animal artist from Los Angeles, who worked at Dell Publishing in 1957 and from 1969 to 1984. He illustrated comics with Disney characters such as 'Mickey Mouse', 'Scamp' and 'The Beagle Boys', but also with Warner Bros, Walter Lantz and Hanna-Barbera characters. In 1970 and 1971, he illustrated the western 'The Close Shaves of Pauline Peril'. He also did stories with Hanna-Barbera characters at Marvel in 1978 and 1979. He was an animator at Hanna-Barbera from 1959 to 1967.
