BiographyJames Green (1911-2005) Born: Ware, MA. Studied: Massachusetts School of Art, Otis Art Institute (Los Angeles). Member: California Water Color Society. James Green studied art with Barse Miller and Paul Clemens in the early 1930s. During that period he developed a bold, expressive style of watercolor painting and became an active member of the California Water Color Society. Since the early 1940s, he has been an art instructor at Principia College in Illinois.
