DescriptionThis scene depicts some old abandoned trucks that were left in a field near the Back Bay area of Newport Beach. During the 1960's James painted many works right on location while viewing the subject matter. He was considered a vital part of the California Style movement of watercolors and exhibited this type of art at the Challis Gallery in Laguna Beach where his peers Rex Brandt, Phil Dike and George Post also exhibited.On View
