Caesar Anthony Hernandez
Born in Carpinteria, CA on July 23, 1909. Hernandez earned his B.A. degree at UCLA and his M.A. degree at USC. He studied art at the Chouinard Art School and with E. Vysekal, Tom Craig, Barse Miller, and Loren Barton. After 1935 he taught art at Redondo Beach High School while producing watercolors of the Los Angeles area. After WWII he traveled extensively and derived most of his subject matter from his travels. He died in Redondo Beach, CA on April 24, 1996.
