DescriptionIn 1934, artist Millard Sheets produced this lithograph and an oil painting with a similar image. The oil painting went to the White House in Washington D.C. and was later gifted to the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Both the lithograph and the painting depict tenement buildings that were located at the foot of Bunker Hill in Los Angeles. Those buildings are now long gone. On View
