DescriptionLoren Barton was a very adept watercolor painter and print maker. She was one of the very few California watercolor painters that could spontaneously paint a portrait and consistently get an accurate likeness. During the 1940's she focused on portraits and figurative works, which in retrospect was the height of her art career. This work represents that era in Barton's career.On View
